I bought a Paslode nailer from outside of the UK. Can I buy compatible nails and fuel here in the UK to use in my tool?

Please be aware that if you purchase a tool from outside the UK, you will not be able to get the compatible nails and fuel within our UK distribution network, as the gas system is different.

Over time, the fuel cell will lose the appropriate pressure that is required in order to inject the correct amount of fuel into the tool to fire.

Why can't bright nails be used in external applications?

Bright nails have no protective coating on them and consequently will start to rust very quickly if used externally.

Can the Paslode IM350/IM350+ nails be used in the IM360Ci/360Xi and vice versa?

Due to the spacing of the nails on the collation and some head types it is not advised to interchange nails between these tools, as there is a high risk of misfiring or nail jams. There is an easy way to tell which nails are for which tool – our D-head nails are for use in the IM350/IM350+ tool and our round head nails are for use in the IM360Ci/360Xi tool.

Can Paslode IM65 brads be used on cladding/fencing applications?

It is not advised to use brads on this kind of application. Brads are not structural fixings and as such are susceptible to fatigue and head pull through.
